Good food. I got #44 Spicy Maze Soba Tokyo Style, and it was tasty. Adding vinegar after about half way done is a must!

Ordered a chicken katsu curry to go and I guess the lid was never shut and the food went out of the container... Manager(?) was so nice and replaced it for me and even offered a drink. Food here is delicious!

Right inside the amazing Mitsuwa Marketplace, plenty to do! We tried their Gyudon (Japanese Beef Rice Bowl) with a soft egg. It came with miso soup as well. We also added on a fried oyster. This was my first Gyudon and I found it delicious, especially with that SUPER runny soft egg. The miso soup was pretty good stock, though I would have wanted some bigger tofu chunks. The fried oyster - OMG - so fresh. I was expecting a chewy nugget in the center covered in batter. No. It was still a super fresh and runny oyster with a light batter. Would happily come back and chow down on other dishes here.

I'm not sure why I took so long to put a review up for Tokyo Shokudo. Every time I've bought something from here I have been very happy. It has become my go to place at Mitsuwa for food for the past 4 years (my trips are far between, maybe twice a year). Their curry is tasty and I always leave full and happy. It's also nice to be able to grab an onigiri as a snack. I noticed they had one with spam (the Hawai’ian in me was excited) but didn't grab it, wish I had. Even my child, who is a bit of a picky eater, enjoyed have bites of my rice with their cury. So, that's a win for me!

I was greeted with a fully operating food court of awesome Japanese dishes. Had a fantastic bowl of beef udon with some potato tempura sides. You don’t see much of this in the US, as most of our malls are no longer around. It felt like a fun trip back in time, but with Japanese food as the focal point. Well lit and comfortable to navigate. Prices are reasonable too. Big portions from what I could see at most of the other food shops. The supermarket has plenty of imported drinks that you can buy and bring into the food court. No alcohol though. I grabbed a carbonated ginger drink that was a perfect compliment to my udon bowl.

I came here a few days and got the Chicken Cutlet Bowl and it was amazing! The chicken katsu was so tender and flavorful and the rice was also flavorful yet soft and it complimented the texture of the onions and eggs I would definitely recommend this dish!

We ordered their tempura and pork cutlet. I was not a fan of tempura but when i tasted their tempura I had a change of heart. The breading of their tempura was crispy and had a nice texture to it. Although I was already full at that time, I was still able to finish my tempura in a flash. I highly recommend their tempura! ...
